At the recent 2009 Australian Kayak Sprint Championships Currumbin’s Jordan Clark won almost every event on offer in his age group.
The Australian Sprint Championships were held at Champion Lakes, Perth, WA on 11th March 2009. Jordan brought back home an impressive 9 gold medals.

A month later at the Australian Marathon Champsionships held at Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast QLD Jordan Clark also took out the event in his age group. Younger brother Hayden Clark also came home as an Australian champion in his age group.
Currumbin Creek Canoe Club had an excellent representation at both the Sprint and Marathon Australian Championships, demonstrating the strength of our paddlers, coaching and club.
