LEARN TO PADDLE

All equipment is provided for this three (3) week “Introduction to Ski Paddling” program. Conducted from the creek at the club shed in Davall St Currumbin Waters. 8:30 for a 9:00am start.

Generally the first three (3) Saturdays of the month – except January & December.

Cost: $40.00/person/session – includes ski & paddle hire. Cash or card.

Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness and must be able to swim 50m fully clothed.

CLUB MONTHLY – HANDICAP SERIES

Held on the first Saturday of every month – except January.

A standard 8km course beginning at club shed (Davall St Currumbin Waters). Paddle from the club pontoon to Thowers Bridge and then upstream to Wendts Bridge and back to finish at the club pontoon. The aim of a handicap race is to have all paddlers cross the finish line at approximately the same time. Great for training and motivation to improve fitness and performance. This event is held the 1st Saturday of each month starting at 7:00am (registration from 6:15)

Held on the first Saturday of every month – except January.

Mass start 10km course beginning at club shed (Davall St Currumbin Waters). Paddle from the club pontoon to the Gold Coast Highway Bridge and then upstream to Wendts Bridge and back to finish at the club pontoon. The aim of the race is to experience a short marathon format race. Great for training and motivation to improve fitness and performance. This event is held the 3rd Saturday of each month starting at 7:00am (registration from 6:15)

Everyone is Welcome...

Currumbin Creek Paddlers Club Inc is located on the southern end of the Gold Coast at Currumbin on the beautiful Currumbin Creek. The creek stretches from world-class surfing spot, Currumbin Alley, right up the valley through to the mountains. Due to the versatile location, the club caters for flat water marathon and sprint kayakers, ocean ski paddlers as well as various recreational kayaks and canoes.

Our home base and boat shed is at the end of Davall Street, Currumbin Waters on Currumbin Creek. Our boat shed is full of kayaks and ocean skis available for club member use – beginner to advanced. You can also store your equipment in the club shed. Hot showers are also available. Most Saturday morning you will find us doing some kind of club activity.

New members and visitors are always welcome.
